Our latest Ofsted report for Little Stars Day Nursery at the Kilmarnock Road Centre

In February 2017 Ofsted published our latest inspection results for Little Stars Day Nursery. The overall summary of our service has been marked as 'Good'. Below are the key points of why we have been giving this award.

• The management team is committed to improvement and, overall, has a clear understanding of the strengths and weakness of the setting. A strong focus on promoting positive outcomes for children helps them to make good progress across all areas of their learning and development.
• Members of the qualified and experienced staff team have a thorough understanding of how children learn. Staff interact very positively with children and make the most of the opportunities to promote the development of their basic skills.
• Children's behaviour is good. Staff develop strong bonds with children. They support their good emotional development and growing confidence. Staff are kind, caring and supportive. Flexible settling-in visits contribute towards children's sense of belonging.
• Staff work closely with other professionals. Targeted support is provided for children who have special educational needs or disabilities. Staff implement effective methods to help ensure that any identified gaps in children's progress are closing.
